A major CSW scrabble tournament is a must in the continental part of Europe. Germany started the tradition at Mannheim 2011.
Romania followed with Bucharest 2012. Germany's 2nd Open was held at Bad Wimpfen 2013. Now, we’re moving back to the East !

The Romanian Scrabble Federation and the Universitatea Sports Club are honoured to organise, and proudly invite you to join, the
2nd Romanian Open Scrabble Tournament — Cluj-Napoca, 10-12 October, 2014.

Format : An open division plus allocated divisions depending on WESPA/ABSP ratings and number of entrants; 22 games will be played over 3 days. The tournament will observe WESPA rules v2, using the CSW12 lexicon and self-adjudication. 5-point penalty per unsuccessfully challenged word. Live coverage will be available.
